Day 10 Builders on Deck

Well the posts and trusses are all in and pretty level. We started in with building the floor after a morning coffee break that only lasted an hour or so.  It took me a while to understand the plan as from the beginning this wasn't your typical home construction.  What we're  building is a barn and turning it into a home.  I'm so glad I read a book on house framing as it looks like I will never reference the information!

We kept at it after the perfunctory siesta time and got a little more of the floor completed so we can walk around a bit.  I'm so glad we have nail framing guns as I must admit my darling wife  was right about my hammering in middle age.

Other than that we go on with our routine.  Until tomorrow...
